By tram — the easiest way (~12 minutes on T1, €2,00)

  1. Leave the station from the Via Valfonda exit. The tram platforms are directly in front of you.
  2. Take line T1 toward Careggi — not T2 and not the tramway going in the opposite direction.
  3. Stay on for about 12 minutes and get off at Vittorio Emanuele II, by Teatro di Rifredi.
  4. Walk 2–3 minutes to Via Filippo Corridoni 116. We will send you a photo of the entrance before arrival.
Local tip

The tramway uses two different streets here. Coming from the city, get off at Vittorio Emanuele II. Going back to the city, board at Dalmazia, 20 metres from the apartment.

By taxi

10–15 minutes. Taxi ranks are on both sides of the station. Show the driver: Via Filippo Corridoni 116, zona Piazza Dalmazia.

By train

Regional trains reach Firenze Rifredi in 5 minutes, then it is a 15-minute walk. Useful if you are already at the platform; otherwise the tram from the Central Station is easier.

Tickets

€2,00, valid for 90 minutes in Florence. A paper or digital ticket must be validated or activated when you board the tram. If you pay contactless on board, wait for the green confirmation. One card equals one passenger.

✈️From Florence Airport (Peretola, FLR)+

By tramway (~45 minutes, €2,00 for the whole journey)

  3. Change to T1 toward Careggi for about 12 minutes.
  4. Get off at Vittorio Emanuele II, then walk 2–3 minutes.

One €2,00 ticket covers the whole journey, change included, if completed within 90 minutes.

20–25 minutes, approximately €25–30 plus small supplements at night, on Sundays and for extra luggage. Official taxis are outside Arrivals 24/7.

Late arrival?

Trams run approximately 05:00–00:30, until 02:00 on Friday and Saturday. Outside those hours, take a taxi.

🚗By car · parking · ZTL+

No ZTL. Drive straight to the door.

Florence’s ZTL covers the historic centre and is enforced by cameras. The apartment is outside it: no permit is needed to reach the entrance.

Two common driving mistakes
  • Never follow another car into the tram lane: it is camera-controlled.
  • Several streets around Piazza Dalmazia are one-way. If you miss a turn, go around the block.
